What is Pinellas County Steering Committee?
The Steering Committee is comprised of the four
Officers of Pinellas County Intergroup (Chairman, Vice Chair,
Treasurer and Secretary), nine Chairpeople of the various
Standing Committees and the Central Office Manager for a total
of 14 members. The only non-voting member is the Central Office
Manager.
The Standing Committees are
Anniversary Dinner, Gratitude Dinner, Picnic, Helpline, Unity
Meeting, Plain and Straight, Where and When, Website, and
Maintenance.

What happens at the monthly Intergroup meeting?
The Steering Committee discusses topics concerning AA in
Pinellas County.
The Chairperson gives his opening remarks and then the Treasurer and Standing
Committee Chairs give their reports. The Secretary
takes the Minutes of the meeting, recording special comments, motions and voting
results. Items that must be decided by the Intergroup Representative are
recorded to be entered as new business at the next Intergroup meeting.
Each Chairperson reports on the status and finances of their committee
and then receives questions, comments and suggestions from the other Steering
Committee members concerning their report.
When does Pinellas County Steering Committee meet?
Pinellas County Steering Committee meets once a month on the
second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm at Central Office, 8340 Ulmerton Road,
#220, Largo.
Anyone can attend and voice their opinion, but only
Steering Committee members can vote.
